겨울왕국 ost (Let it go) - 이디나 멜젤(Idina Menzel) [ 엘사 / 겨울왕국 / 노래 / 가사 ]

오늘도 역시 겨울에 어울리는 노래 한곡을 소개해 드리려고 합니다.

지난 포스팅보다 비교적 최근에 발매한 곡이라 친숙하실 겁니다.

그래도 벌써 9년 전 노래라는 게 믿기지 않습니다.

겨울왕국 ost로 알려진 Let it go라는 곡입니다.

한 설문조사에 의하면 디즈니 애니메이션 주제가 중 가장 좋은 곡으로 선정되기도 했습니다.

 

극 중에서 엘사가 자신의 얼음 능력이 다른 사람들에겐 무섭고 위험하다고 생각해 산으로 도망가서

아무도 없는 곳에서 자유롭게 얼음 능력을 발휘하는 중에 부르게 됩니다.

 

 

 

곡 전반부에 엘사의 주눅이 든 모습으로 시작해 1절 후렴 부분부터 빠른 템포의 리듬감 있는 멜로디가 나오며

점차 자신의 능력을 자유롭게 사용하게 되는 기승전결이 있는 곡입니다.

 

한편으로는 남들과 다른 엘사 자신을 스스로가 자책하며 자신을 구속해왔던 모습을 떨쳐버리고

본연의 모습을 스스로 받아들이게 되는 복잡하면서 후련한 심정을 표현하기도 합니다.

 

2013년에 개봉하면서 현재까지도 많은 사람들에게 사랑받는 곡 중 하나입니다.
